The sessions will be held in our new art studio at the Field Center! Each session will begin with a brief gentle guided physical warm-up. We will work with a live model and practice various traditional and experimental approaches to gesture, modeling, perspective, proportions and anatomy. Anya will offer drawing exercises designed to train hand-eye coordination, technical skills, individual expression and vision. Students will have access to one-on-one time with the instructor, independent work time and group feedback.

Please see the supplies list HERE.

Our studio is equipped with tables, chairs and drawing boards.

If you prefer to work on an easel, you are welcome to bring your own.

If you use a wheelchair, please know that there are 3 stair steps. Give us a heads up and we will be ready to assist you.

Watersoluble paint is welcome. No oil paints please.

Full series participants will be able to store supplies in the studio.

Masks optional. Please do not attend if you have Covid-19 symptoms or have tested positive.

Please note that we will be working with a nude model. Participants under 18 years of age need to have permission from a parent or guardian.
