PROGRAMS + WORKSHOPS

Programming at the Field Center is designed to offer non-academic learning spaces for adult artists, and to offer teachers a home for experimental and non-academic teaching practices. Our programming is year round and is generally divided between weekend-long events and longer workshops/intensives in which small groups live and work together for 7-14 days at a time, generally led by 1-2 teachers from a variety of disciplines. During the summer months we host a variety of festivals and cultural events. Some of our recurring programs include material related to our summer PANDA LABS which are deep dives into dance + performance development, Group Shakes, Contact Improvisation, and the Axis Syllabus.
